FAMILIAR STRANGER

The opening scene presents the viewers with the first two man characters. It opens with the main character Riley Grant teaching her students right before the last bell to release the kids for summer vacation. As the last bell rings you see the kids rushing out except for one little boy, he goes up to Riley and tells her that he hopes she has a nice vacation and he gives her a hug and as shes bending over to give the little boy a hug the camera moves from seeing the both of them to her view she sees mens shoes walking up to them and the camera moves up the man. The man ends up being her Future husband Josh. Riley and Josh talk about summer and what they want to do, and they both know that sometime this summer they have to go see her family to tell them about the news. Riley doesnt want to go see her familey because her and her family aren't close. Her parents are very wealthy they have their own successful wine business in Napa California where they live. The parents own a summer home in the Hamptons where Riley will meet up with them for part of the summer that way Riley and Josh can tell them about the engagment.
After some time passes you see them on their way to the Hamptons music playing in the background as you see them on the road music turns into a song on the radio Riley turns it down and she asks Josh if they should really be doing this. She's realy nervous about the whole situation and she doesn't know how her parents are going to act towards the news especially since they never meet him before. All josh can say is that her parents aren't going to be able to get in the way of their marriage and she shouldnt really care it's not like her parents will truely care anyways. This brings more anger towards her parents and now this vacation to her is more just to spite her own parents.
They arrive at a secluded gated Mansion in the Hamptons. The gate opens up and they pull in they get their belongings out of the car and ring the doorbell. The welcome they are given is quite cold. They exchange hugs and her parents go on there way. Rileys older sister Laura helps the two of them get settled in and shows Josh around the house. They end up in the Kitchen where her mother and father are preparing for dinner. Mr. and Mrs. Grant start up a conversation with Riley and Josh. Her father keeps going back and refering to how Riley made poor decisions and thats why she is struggling with money and teaching. He truely thinks teaching isnt a job because it doesnt bring in enough money for anyone of his standered to live on. Riley trys to laugh it off as if it was a joke and it wasn't that big a deal but you can tell that it really bothers her. Mr. Grant also tells Josh about how Riley turned him down to work in the familey business. He said that if she said yes she would have a lot of money and would be just like Laura.
Laura Grant is the perfect daughter in the Grants eyes. She Is involved in the familey wine business, and she hasn't been involved with a guy for awhile just to please her father to show that she is dedicated to her work. Although Riley is the opposite of Laura, Laura likes to help her sister out but Mr. Grant found out about it and he has done some caniving things to keep them from getting too close.
Finally they sit down for dinner and Rileys parents start to ask Josh about himself and his work. They ask what he does and he is very light on details. he only says he works in and office and does "stuff" with computers. Everything about his job and himself are very vague. Because of all this Mr. and Mrs. Grant are very suspecious about him and dont know what to make of Josh.
After dinner The parents are in their room getting ready for bed and you hear the two talking about Josh and how he is an odd character and that they dont know what to make of him. They start to think of ways to get them to call off the wedding but they both know that there is no relationship with their daughter, and that their is no way they could stop them from getting married. No too long after they seem like all they talked about meant nothing and they could care less. (Camera going back and forth between the two conversations)At the same time you hear Riley talking to laura about how great josh is and how she cant wait to get married. Riley talks about how shes going to take Josh onthe yacht tomorrow for the day just to get away from it all.
The next morning they leave on the yacht. you hear vague talking about something suspecious but you dont know exactly what is going on or what is going to happen between Riley and Josh. The both of them never end up coming home that night Laura tells her parents but Mr. Grant convinces Laura and Mrs. Grant that they were probably just staying the night on the yacht together. The Next day they still see no sign of them and they all get worried about the two of them. they end up calling the cops and you see days and days of searching looking for them but all the cops found was the yacht. They were gone without a trace there was no evidence of them even leaving the yacht. after such a long time of searching they had to call off the cops but they still had community search parties looking for them.
Not too long after the cops were dimissed the Grant family get a call from and unknown caller, the caller has no name and ssaid to Mr Grant that they wanted 2 million dollars ready for them in the next 24 hours they said not to call the cops or she will end up killed. They said they will recieve a phone call to let them know there time has expired.
So Mrs. Grant is going crazy making sure they have enough money to give to this mysterious person. They all are awaiting the dreaded phone call when finally it rings and you hear the voice on the other end asking if the money is ready and then the voice states it will be there soon. the suspense is heart wrenching and the three of them have no clue what to do at this point when all of a sudden they hear a knock on the door.
Mr. Grant opens the door to see Riley holding a gun to Joshs head(keep in mind this is a secluded gated Mansion). Riley tells her father to put the money on the floor and have everyones hands in the air where she can see them. She then has a heart to heart with them as she is still holding the gun to joshs head. She tells her parents that this would have never happend if it werent for them. She wouldnt feel so livid if it weren't for the way her father treated her and if he only loved her as much as he did laura. He never helped her financially when she was in much need of help. He was never willing to love and help her as much as he was Laura and that why She has hatred towards Laura. And then she goes on to her mother. She says how she gave up to soon. Her mother use to try to talk to her father to change his ways but she gave up to soons he quit on her she gave up and she hates her for giving up. Then she looks josh dead in the eyes and tell him that she was so sorry but she never loved him and the only reason she said yes to marrying him was because she knew she could turn him and make him believe that they both would walk away with the money but she never had any intention of being with him. She kissed him one last time then shot him and then turned and shot her parents and Laura.
She made the crime scene look like Josh was the one that killed her family she ended up calling the cops after she was done being questioned she left with the money.
Last scene you a side profile of a girl in the bank with sunglasses on you hear the clark ask for her name so she can deposit her money and she takes off her glasses and you hear the young lady say Ashleen DeClair. The camera goes from a tight up close shot then pulls out to see the whole bank but you can still focus on her as everything gets smaller.
